This was a place that I purchased from a nice fellow named Ian. I thought I understood the restrictions of the HOA that it was part of, but I still was told the Reunion Sailboat "Capsule" had to go, among other things.

Lisa proposed this name and I liked it a lot.

I sold it back to Ian and walked away.

I should have stuck to my natural tendency to avoid anything that even smells like a Home-Owners Association (HOA). Also, I am yet again soured on civilized places like Texas.

This is an idea and how I would pull it off.

Take advantage of what you have.

For instance, Ragland has electricity and cellular/data service, but we want to take advantage of our space and smarts to maximize cost savings.

GMRS Radio

If the antenna is placed at the back of the townsite, the line of site goes as far as Tucumcari Mountain and all the way into Melrose and Clovis, if power permits.

All one needs is a license, radios, and the repeater. It basically works on an adjacent to the 70cm band.
