I am thinking about structures on lands that I own and how to make them so that I don't run afoul of zoning and permitting needs. It seems to ride on being anchored to the ground to be "permanent".

I think that such issues can be avoided if you put thing built on skids and of a size that can be moved about rather easily. If you move things occassionally, it is difficult to call them "permanent stuctures".

Also, I would make the structures so that each can be disassembled and moved, or loaded onto a trailer and hauled away.
