The Dawson Railway

This is a place in Harding County, which had a very cool area website that was run by a great friend of mine at the local Cooperative Extension Service office. My friend moved on and the website disappeared, but you can still see it at the Wayback Machine.

An informative interchange amongst those with some knowledge about the Dawson Railway, which was a part of the El Paso and Northeastern Railway.

The railroad ran from Dawson through Roy, Solano, and Mosquero (which were all water stops apparently and was the likely the creation or main development of each as well) to Tucumcari and from there is points west and east.
