Wilfornia

The United States of America

There are a few ways of defining the USA and my definition is likely different from the norm.

For my part, the United States of America consists of places which are governed by The Declaration Of Independence, The Constitution of the United States of America, and The Bill of Rights.

There are areas within the boundaries drawn as individual states of the USA, such as New Mexico, but most of these state governments are hard-pressed to fulfill Declarational and Constitutional roles that should define such a state.

For practical purposes, Wilfornia is meant to be a part of The United States Of America, but it is difficult to find governments that meet the criteria of it.

In the end, I am very loyal to the founding documents of the USA and the principles embodied in them. Sadly, I can't find an actual state whose government shows requisite loyalty to these documents and desires its rightful place as independent states formed into a union for mutual protection and commerce.

In one way, the documents are still here and thus the USA is still with us, but only as an unrealized concept. There is a hope that people within Wilfornia can take part in the creation of successful governments that live up to the principles of the American founding documents.
