The girl has her black name, a sick joke on her lowly status, but it was required for the clubs she served. Her mother had been a cheerleader in "the old days" and that was the school experience that would get the girl motherly approval. It was called "dance team" these days and was the place where the cute "it" girls could show off their bodies in skimpy skin-tight outfits that the "dress code" would never permit to other girls. Virtue meant that there was the token fat girls and one on crutches that were in the duff positions not taken up by the cruel multi-culty girls that titilated the jocks and terrorized everyone else. Our girl was just a little too sweet for the cruelties, but tried to measure up to impress her mother.

In one practice, she came up short and the "captains" attacked her, scratching her face into disfigurement. She healed but there were unacceptable scars that virtue signalling didn't choose to overcome and she was out of the club. She ended up in one of the "loser" clubs called the honey bears, which was a child grooming truancy squad, that picked up drifter kids and brought them to the residential part of the school. The girl spent less and less time at home, her mother so upset that her girl didn't make it on the dance team, and she embraced her new club to the point of going to the residential side, basically handing herself over to the school, which her mother was only too happy to do to her "loser" child.

She wins awards for her ability to acquire new children for the school, supported by the government that desired a good supply of wage-slaves and the gangs that didn't want to be bothered with training their fresh recruits.
